IEC 62368 is the result of the combination and evolution of traditional safety testing standards like IEC 60065 for consumer electronics and IEC 60950 for information technology equipment. When information and communication technologies become a broader name for equipment having also communication capabilities, change of further merging of this group is on the horizon. However, because different economies operate at various levels, CTL continues to offer test solutions in accordance with independent standards for the relevant segments even if it can now offer testing to combined standards.
