Emergency Lights

Testing Requirements:

1) Light Output and Distribution: Our testing laboratory conducts precise measurements to evaluate the light output and distribution of LED luminaires. This includes assessing parameters such as luminous flux, beam angle, and uniformity of light distribution. By adhering to IS 10322 Part 5 Section 8, we ensure that the luminaires provide adequate illumination in emergency scenarios.

2) Duration of Emergency Operation: We verify the duration of emergency operation by subjecting LED luminaires to rigorous testing in simulated emergency conditions. This involves assessing the battery backup system, evaluating the luminaire's ability to maintain the required light output, and determining the duration for which it can operate effectively during power outages.

3) Charging and Discharging Characteristics: Our laboratory conducts comprehensive tests to analyze the charging and discharging characteristics of LED luminaires' battery systems. This ensures that the battery is capable of reaching full charge within the specified time frame and discharging smoothly during emergency situations.

4) Performance in High Ambient Temperature: We assess the performance of LED luminaires in high ambient temperatures, as specified in IS 10322 Part 5 Section 8. By subjecting the luminaires to elevated temperatures, we evaluate their ability to maintain optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability during emergency scenarios.

5) Mechanical and Electrical Safety: Our testing protocols include assessing the mechanical and electrical safety of LED luminaires for emergency lighting. This involves conducting tests for insulation resistance, electric strength, and protection against ingress of dust and moisture, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.

6) Environmental Conditions: We evaluate the LED luminaires' performance under various environmental conditions, such as humidity, vibration, and thermal cycling. These tests ensure that the luminaires can withstand harsh conditions and operate reliably in diverse emergency situations.
