Flood Lights
Testing Methodology:
At House of Testing, we adhere to the rigorous testing requirements outlined in IS 10322 Part 5 Section 5 for LED flood lights. Our state-of-the-art testing facilities and qualified experts enable us to conduct a wide range of tests to evaluate various aspects of LED flood lights, including safety, performance, and durability.
1. Electrical Safety Testing:
We meticulously assess the electrical safety aspects of LED flood lights, ensuring they comply with relevant safety standards. Our tests include insulation resistance, dielectric strength, protective grounding, and clearance and creepage distances. These tests ensure that the LED flood lights are electrically safe, reducing the risk of electrical hazards.
2. Performance Testing:
We conduct a series of performance tests to evaluate the efficacy, luminous flux, color rendering index (CRI), color temperature, and power factor of LED flood lights. By measuring these parameters, we verify that the LED flood lights perform in accordance with industry standards and provide accurate and consistent illumination.
3. Thermal Testing:
Heat dissipation is a critical factor in the performance and longevity of LED flood lights. Our thermal testing procedures assess the thermal management capabilities of the lights, evaluating their ability to dissipate heat effectively and maintain optimal operating temperatures. This ensures that the LED flood lights are durable and perform reliably under different environmental conditions.
4. Environmental Testing:
LED flood lights are often subjected to various environmental conditions. Our environmental testing encompasses tests for temperature, humidity, dust ingress, and vibration resistance. By simulating real-world conditions, we ascertain that the LED flood lights can withstand harsh environments and continue to deliver optimal performance and durability.
5. Ingress Protection (IP) Testing:
To evaluate the degree of protection provided by LED flood lights against solid objects and liquids, we perform IP testing. This determines the IP rating of the lights, indicating their resistance to dust, moisture, and water. The IP rating assists customers in selecting the appropriate LED flood lights for specific indoor or outdoor applications.
6. Electrical and Mechanical Endurance Testing:
To ensure the long-term performance and reliability of LED flood lights, we subject them to electrical and mechanical endurance testing. This involves operating the lights under various load conditions, voltages, and mechanical stress to assess their durability and resistance to wear and tear.PRODUCTS
